About Me

I'm a 20 some thing living on the outskirts of Denver. I really hate it when people don't use their turn signals and the aura around hospitals. I've been known to have some random, strange and out there thoughts so this will be my new home for them.

Okay so I've been sick the past few days and have been doing a lot of reading in the tech and science fields when i stumbled across a few articles that talked about the extent of the computing power we now have available. The basic concept of the articles were that we now have enough power to simulate an entire universe from start to finish and it got me thinking. Now this is going to sound crazy but just hear me out for a second. We have so little empirical evidence about the bang in the Big Bang Theory who's to say our entire existence isn't just simulated? What if every thing you ever new was just a programmed outcome? Every decision you've ever made based on source code? Every person you've ever met just a bunch of ones and zeros? What if your free will wasn't free at all? What if The Big Bang actually just a boot up?  Would this change the way you live your life if it was true? or would you just continue to follow code?
